Marissa K. Lingen: 1999 winner of the Isaac Asimov Award for Undergraduate Excellence in Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing. She has several pieces of fabulous short fiction out, and is one of the nicest people I know.

Michael Stone: Up-and-coming horror and dark fiction writer.  Fellow traveler on the journey through RP.

Neil Gaiman: As if he needs an introduction.

Rae Carson: A talented speculative fiction writer. Her critiques are spot on and her enthusiasm infectious.

Roger Zelazny: The late Mr. Zelazny is the main reason I started writing. He is my model and hero.

Scott Lynch: World Fantasy Award nominee and all around good guy. Watch this guy's career.

Sherwood Smith: I've never met her personally, but she's given me much needed encouragement and advice, for which I will be forever thankful.

Stella Evans: Writer, doctor, mother to a great kid, and a cool person. I'm in love with, and jealous of, her writing.

Steven Brust: One of the very best at what he does. Steven is the second biggest influence on me as a writer, after Roger Zelazny.
