Here is a list of conventions and other events I will attend. If anyone wants to come up to me and say hello, I’m easy to spot: I’m the large man with the white cane. I’d love to visit with you.
Con of the North — The Twin Cities’ longest running gaming convention, held at the Holiday Inn St. Paul East, St. Paul, MN. February 17-19, 2012.
MarsCon — A fun mid-sized general SF convention held in Bloomington, MN. This convention draws the a good cross section of local SF/F/H writers, has strong music programming, a good literary track, and lots of expert costuming. March 9-11, 2012
Paganicon — Held at the Doubletree Park Place Hotel, St. Louis Park, MN. This is the first year for this convention.
Minicon — The Grand Dame of Minnesota SF&F Conventions. This Con is held at the Sheraton Hotel in Bloomington, MN. April 6-8, 2012
4th Street Fantasy Convention — Small. Smart. Intimate. The best little fantasy convention on the block. June 22-24, 2012
CONvergence — CONvergence is at the Sheraton Hotel in Bloomington, MN. The largest SF/F/H convention in the Twin Cities, it has lots of programming. Is considered a media convention, but has a strong literary track. July 5-8, 2012.
Diversicon — A Twin Cities convention that celebrates and explores the connections between speculative fiction (SF) and diversity. August 3-5, 2012.
